I haven't decided for sure what I'll do when Eclipse becomes permanent. I've tried it out, but even with the green mode to make it easier on the eyes, trying to view or find anything is a UI nightmare. The un-toggle-able endless scrolling, giant icons, folder carousels; the lack of support for group pages (what's going to happen to those in the switch, hm dA? hm??); the death of HTML custom pages; the death of Stash Writer; I can't. I just can't. I can't see how any web designer made that, stepped back, and said "Yep. This is it it." And that all their coworkers agreed. You know how I feel when trying to navigate through a pile of massive deviation tiles from all the people I watch? Overwhelmed. And do you know what happens then? I stop trying to look at the things. And then guess what happens: deviantART fails its core purpose of letting me easily browse art.

I may back up all my art and delete my account, if my RP groups can continue without dA. Perhaps I'll make another website for personal pieces and store my RP stuff there. Either way, come May, dA has all but lost me as a user.
